Stranger Things confirms new cast members for final season
As a die-hard fan of Stranger Things since its inception, I can’t contain my excitement as we reach the halfway point of filming for the final season! The behind-the-scenes video released by Netflix is a heartwarming reminder of how far we’ve come. Eight years ago, the Duffer Brothers introduced us to Hawkins, and now we have new cast members Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux joining the ensemble for the ultimate showdown.
The hit Netflix series, Stranger Things, recently shared a sneak peek into their production process with a video featuring the introduction of three fresh cast members.
As a big fan of the acclaimed Netflix series created by the Duffer Brothers, I’m eagerly anticipating the arrival of the fifth and last installment. In this final chapter, we’ll be welcomed by new cast members Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux. Together, we’ll witness Hawkins’ epic showdown.
Netflix shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek on Twitter/X, marking the midpoint of filming Stranger Things 5 and commemorating eight years of the beloved series.
I sat with my gaming friends as we watched the old clips, nostalgically reflecting on our journey that started eight years ago on July 15, 2016, when our favorite series first aired on the streaming platform.
Millie Bobby Brown, the Eleven actress, shared that she began her journey at the age of ten and is now reaching her twentieth birthday. She expressed feeling strange about this transition.
“We’re just kind of savouring every single moment,” Nancy actor Natalia Dyer said.
According to Jamie Campbell Bower, who portrays the antagonist Vecna, anticipation is running stronger than ever.
“Season 4 was big. Season 5 definitely feels bigger,” he said.
About three weeks ago, one of the creators, Ross Duffer, posted a picture on social media of the entire cast gathered on the set. They were on the 24th week of filming and excitedly marking the midpoint of production.
I’ve been a dedicated fan of “Stranger Things” since its inception, and I can’t contain my excitement as we approach the final season. The recent update from star Maya Hawke has only fueled my anticipation further. According to her, the final installment could potentially drop on Netflix in early 2025. That’s just over three years from now!
She shared with Penn Badgley on his podcast, Podcrushed, that writing and filming an episode for each season is a time-consuming process. Essentially, they’re producing the equivalent of eight full-length films due to the extended episode length.
As a dedicated fan of Stranger Things, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with fellow enthusiasts! If you, like me, have binge-watched all four seasons of this brilliant Netflix series, then I have good news for you. You can revisit the Upside Down and Hawkins lab anytime you want, as Seasons 1-4 are currently streaming on Netflix. But that’s not all! Production for a fifth and final season is underway, so get ready for one last adventure with our beloved characters.
