Stranger Things bosses’ new Netflix show reveals new cast additions

As a longtime fan of captivating sci-fi series and a self-proclaimed aficionado of the Duffer Brothers’ masterpieces like “Stranger Things“, I must say that the latest news about their upcoming project, “The Boroughs”, has me absolutely giddy with excitement!

Netflix’s upcoming sci-fi series The Boroughs has added six new cast members.

The upcoming series, created by the team behind Stranger Things (Matt and Ross Duffer), is set in what appears to be a peaceful retirement community in New Mexico. An assortment of unconventional heroes will join forces here to prevent an otherworldly menace from seizing something they lack: time.

As a gamer, I’ve just learned some exciting news! According to Variety, actors like Rafael Casal from Loki, Ed Begley Jr. known for his role in Young Sheldon, Jane Kaczmarek, Eric Edelstein, Dee Wallace, and Mousa Hussein Kraish have all joined the cast of an upcoming project. Can’t wait to see what these talented individuals bring to the table!

Earlier announcements have revealed that the stars of Spiderman (Alfred Molina), Thelma and Louise (Geena Davis), Clemency (Alfre Woodard) as well as American Horror Story’s Denis O’Hare, The Wire’s Clarke Peters, and Independence Day’s Bill Pullman will join the cast.

Age of Resistance,” Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, will take on the role of showrunners.

In a previous statement, the Duffer Brothers expressed their excitement about the characters in “The Boroughs” being a delightful group of older misfits, who, despite their age difference with the kids from “Stranger Things”, share similar charm. They mentioned that the audience can expect an exciting journey filled with moments that are both hilarious and emotionally poignant as well as some spine-tingling scares.
