Stormzy’s fans beg rapper to join the Celebrity Traitors line-up after he boasts of betraying all his friends and sister in the live experience

After experiencing the live version of the show, Stormzy’s followers urged him to become a contestant on the next season of Celebrity Traitors.

This new game in London is based on the popular BBC show, and challenges up to 14 players to compete – either as teammates or rivals – for a chance to reach the final round.

Stormzy, 32, shared on Instagram Tuesday that he successfully fooled his friends while playing a competitive game, even ‘defeating’ his sister in a playful, but intense, match.

The rapper, revealed to be the betrayer, announced ‘I betrayed everyone,’ and then repeatedly shouted ‘winner, winner!’

Stormzy shared that the live ‘Traitors’ event was amazing, and jokingly admitted to deceiving all the other players.

I tricked my friends, and it was surprisingly easy. I consider myself a master manipulator. I’m really pleased with how things turned out. (Just kidding about the last part – that’s a dark joke about my sister Cass.) Sending love to everyone, goodbye!

They wrote: ‘get Stormzy on the REAL traitors NOWWWW’ (sic);

‘You have to go on Celeb Traitors s2 now’ and ‘@chattyman would be proud’;

‘The last slide tho!! Comedian!! Hahaha’ (sic).

The celebrity version of the show was a huge hit last year, attracting 11 million viewers. Alan Carr, playing the role of the Traitor, ultimately won, beating out Faithful contestants Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed, and David Olusoga.

Angela Scanlon was the latest star rumoured to be in talks with bosses to join the new series.

The 42-year-old presenter has been hoping to get a highly desirable role on the show, becoming popular with BBC viewers after appearing on Celebrity Apprentice and Strictly Come Dancing.

Angela is currently filling in for Cat Deeley on This Morning and is among the celebrities reportedly being considered for the show, alongside names like Steve Pemberton, Richard E. Grant, and Hugh Bonneville.
