Stormzy announced the sad passing of his Rottweiler, Enzo, who he previously shared with Maya Jama. Enzo was seven years old.

The 32-year-old rapper posted several videos on Instagram to honor his dog, nicknamed Enz.

He shared the video with a heartfelt message: ‘Rest in peace to my best friend. I’m completely devastated and heartbroken. I love you more than words can say.’

‘If you know me then you know how much Enz meant to me, gonna miss you my guy.’

Stormzy turned off comments on his original post, but fans still shared the videos and expressed their support on their own profiles.

Someone described a lasting heartache, saying it’s a pain that never truly goes away and a feeling of loss that can’t be replaced. Another person simply expressed empathy, saying they understand the feeling.

In 2018, while he was with Maya, Stormzy purchased a trained protection dog named Enzo for £15,000.

The host of Love Island and a popular rapper surprised fans when they announced their second breakup in July, sharing the news together on Instagram.

We met and quickly fell in love in 2014, but we separated in 2019. For the next five years, we navigated our lives separately.

The couple have officially ended their relationship. They initially separated after five years together in 2019, briefly rekindled things in August 2023, but have now confirmed the split is permanent.

Taking to her Instagram Stories in May, Maya has revealed just how she dealt with their breakup.

She first posted a snap with rapper K-Trap as they posed for a selfie in a recording studio.

Maya was surprised by how fans responded to her post, so she made another video to share how his music had helped her through a difficult time.

Filming herself while walking in London, she addressed her viewers: ‘Don’t get too excited about the idea of me becoming a rapper.’
