Stormzy found himself stranded on a London road Friday morning when his Ferrari, worth around £400,000, ran out of gas.
The 32-year-old English rapper and singer shared on social media that he was stuck in traffic on Putney High Street.
Stormzy shared a series of videos on Instagram showing fans recognizing him and asking for photos, which he was happy to take.
A video showed cars backing up behind him, and a photographer playfully suggested he could have easily pulled his expensive car off the road.
I saw the most relatable moment with Stormzy the other day! He was just standing by his car, which was stuck in traffic, while other drivers tried to get around him. It was a totally normal, everyday situation – proof even big stars deal with the same things we do!
In a video clip, he was heard saying, “Oh happy day, just smile through the pain.” When someone offered to help, he replied, “I’m okay, if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.”

He then posted a selfie with the caption: ‘Doing a meet and greet on Putney High Road.
‘Bring a pen if you want me to sign some sh*t I ain’t got no pen.’
Seeing no help on the way, Stormzy approached the small group of fans who had gathered to talk with them.
He also shared a photo from a gas station, showing he’d successfully filled up his SUV.
He pumped 98 liters into the vehicle, setting him back almost £145.
Stormzy shared that his friend and fellow musician Skeamer helped him out of a tough spot. He also thanked a kind employee at Rush Hair salon who tried to assist him.
‘Thanks to all you lovely people who also tried to help.’
Recently, the Daily Mail reported that a lower-level football club, co-owned by Stormzy and Wilfried Zaha, had to spend around £10,000 to clean up illegally dumped trash at their stadium.

At the end of June, travellers illegally entered and occupied the Mayfield Stadium, home to AFC Croydon Athletic, a football club in the eighth tier of English football.
The group reportedly forced their way onto the property by breaking a locked gate, and six campervans were initially parked there.
The number grew to eight as Croydon Athletic appealed to the council to swiftly intervene.
Last July, the club reported that illegal dumping was creating risks for people, animals, and local sports activities. This issue unfortunately led to the cancellation of a youth football tournament.
Stormzy had a close call with a wasp at Wimbledon’s VIP area on the last day of the tournament, but Dame Helen Mirren stepped in to help, saving him from a potential sting.
He watched Jannik Sinner beat Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s final with Chris Hemsworth, the actor known for playing Helen.
Okay, so they were having the BEST day at Wimbledon, honestly! But then, get this – Stormzy got stung by a wasp! Can you believe it? It was so dramatic! And Helen, absolute angel that she is, totally saved the day! She basically heroically rescued him from the wasp. I was not there, obviously, but I’ve seen the pictures and she is a LEGEND!
Helen, a 79-year-old who was being pampered with VIP service from Evian, bravely stepped in front of an insect to protect the artist from being stung.
