Trudie Styler, Sting’s wife, looked remarkably youthful at the Bari International Film and TV Festival in Italy on Friday night.
The 72-year-old actress, married to the musician for 34 years, stunned in a short black velvet dress, confidently posing for photos on the red carpet before the event.
Trudie showed off her fit legs and appeared taller wearing black leather boots that reached her knees.
Trudie highlighted her naturally beautiful appearance with very little makeup. She finished the look with simple gold jewelry: a cross necklace, hoop earrings, and a bracelet.
She appeared in great spirits during the event, flashing a smile for the cameras on the red carpet.
Trudie was seen at the event shortly after attending the after-party for the premiere of ‘Posso Entrare? An Ode To Naples.’ Her husband had to miss an awards show because he wasn’t feeling well.
The 74-year-old music icon canceled his performance at the Bass Magazine Awards last year and had to reschedule concerts in Phoenix, Arizona, and Wheatland, California, while he was getting better.
Even though Sting was unwell, Trudie remained cheerful while attending a celebratory party at London’s Pizzeria Mozza. The event, also attended by Hugh Grant and Benedict Cumberbatch, marked a screening of her new documentary.
Trudie Styler’s film, ‘Posso Entrare? An Ode To Naples,’ showcased her and Sting’s love for Italy. At a recent event, she shared her personal connection to the country in an interview with PEOPLE.
She explained that she and Sting first fell in love with Italy a long time ago. After their child was born near Pisa, they spent years searching for a family home there, as Italy had always been very welcoming to them.
Italy holds a special place in our hearts. It all started in the 1980s when I filmed at Cinecittà in Rome. Around the same time, Sting was recording a deeply personal album near Pisa shortly after losing his parents, and my partner and I welcomed a new child. These events created a lasting connection for our family.
Sting has six children: Mickey, 40, Jake, 39, Eliot, 33, and Giacomo, 28, with his wife Trudie. He also has two children, Joe, 47, and Fuschia, 42, with his former wife, Frances Tomelty.
Just wanted to let you all know what’s going on with Sting! Last year, his team shared on social media that unfortunately, he couldn’t make it to the Bass Magazine Awards. Plus, he had to postpone a couple of shows here in the US. We’re all hoping he’s doing okay and look forward to seeing him back on stage soon!
Sting, whose full name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, has apologized to concert attendees and expressed his gratitude for their understanding after an unforeseen issue arose.
Sting unfortunately has to cancel his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards this Thursday. He’s been advised by his doctor to rest due to illness, and he sends his apologies.
Additionally, Sting has rescheduled his STING 3.0 concerts: the Phoenix, Arizona show from January 24th will now be on June 1st, and the Wheatland, California show from January 26th will be on May 28th. His performance at the Cherrytree Music Company’s 20th anniversary event has also been moved to May 29th.
Keep your tickets for the rescheduled shows – they will still be valid for the new dates.
Sting is truly sorry for any trouble caused and thanks his fans for their patience and support.
After the news was shared, fans flooded the post with comments, sending their well wishes for a quick recovery.
People sent messages wishing the recipient a quick recovery and plenty of time to heal surrounded by loved ones. Common messages included ‘Get well soon,’ ‘Prayers for your healing!’ and ‘Take care and get better!’
Lots of people are sending Sting well wishes and hoping he feels better soon! Messages include hugs, prayers, and lots of love, with greetings from fans all over, including Chile. Everyone wishes him a restful recovery and looks forward to seeing him again.
Sending Sting lots of love and hoping he feels better soon! I’m really hoping the LA Fire Aid concert still happens – it would be amazing to see No Doubt and Sting perform ‘Message In A Bottle’ together in 2025.
