Steve Guttenberg’s $5M Pacific Palisades home narrowly avoids being burned to the ground in LA fire

This week, Steve Guttenberg’s residence in Pacific Palisades managed to stay safe from fire, just barely, as the wildfire that started on Tuesday in Los Angeles and quickly spread through his neighborhood, came dangerously close.

In the vicinity where I reside, an ongoing blaze has reduced numerous celebrity homes to ashes, among them belonged to Anna Faris, Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, and Ricki Lake.

Guttenberg’s home is still standing despite the singed wreckage surrounding it.

This morning, I awoke with heightened awareness about my psychological wellbeing and mental status, as the past three days have been filled with distressing events, which the 66-year-old actor shared with the Associated Press on Friday.

He compared the surprise to the feeling one gets when someone unexpectedly passes away or is hit by a car. It’s akin to an event you wouldn’t anticipate happening, which is how startling it was.

The star expressed that there is currently a significant amount of suffering, and he is making every effort possible to ease the distress, by being present and supportive for his community.

Earlier this week, Steve was one of the early responders who lent a hand, clearing away deserted vehicles that were blocking the way for fire trucks.

He informed Gene Kang of KTLA 5 that the situation arises because individuals tend to carry their car keys with them, as though they’re in a parking lot. However, this isn’t a parking lot; we urgently request people to relocate their vehicles instead.

If you decide not to take your vehicle with you, please keep the key inside so someone like myself can relocate it, allowing fire trucks to reach the location more easily.

Gutenberg pointed out that his friends were having trouble getting away because of the heavy traffic on Palisades Drive, emphasizing how critical the situation was.

People are stranded above, so we’re working on clearing Palisades Drive. I’m advancing as far as possible along the road, helping to move vehicles.

Tom Hanks’ multimillion-dollar cliffside home also evaded the flames caused by strong winds.

Bill Hader’s house, surprisingly, managed to withstand the destructive Los Angeles wildfires when many of his neighbors suffered losses instead.

Some well-known celebrities, including Jhene Aiko, Anthony Hopkins, and Miles Teller, have sadly seen their homes turn into ashes.

Similarly to Kim Kardashian and other members of her well-known family, authorities have instructed them to vacate their homes.

On Tuesday morning, a disastrous situation started taking shape in Southern California as strong winds combined with scarce rainfall led to an ideal environment for a wildfire in the Pacific Palisades area.

In the Palisades fire, the blaze has rapidly expanded, covering more than 21,317 acres of land as of Saturday. Firefighters are tirelessly battling the flames not only in this area but also at various spots across Los Angeles to bring the situation under control.
