Stephen Mulhern is rushed to hospital after collapsing at Pizza Express after his beloved father’s death
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I can empathize deeply with Stephen Mulhern’s current situation. Losing a parent is undeniably one of life’s most challenging experiences, and it’s heartbreaking to see someone going through such a difficult time.
Stephen Mulhern was taken to hospital after he collapsed while eating at a Pizza Express.
The television host, aged 47, grieving over the loss of his father Christopher, allegedly responded to an anesthetic he received earlier that day during his meal.
As reported by The Sun, staff expressed concern for Stephen at approximately 8 pm on Wednesday night, prompting the dispatch of an ambulance for his care.
To ensure safety, he was transported from Sunningdale, Berkshire, to Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley, Surrey, following a check-up by paramedics.
According to a source, Stephen has been experiencing a particularly difficult period recently. He is deeply mourning the passing of his father who was very dear to him.
Apart from dealing with various health issues that have been extensively recorded, he underwent a procedure using local anesthesia this past Wednesday morning.
That night, he opted for a tranquil, individual dining experience, enjoyed some beverages, but unfortunately responded in an extremely poor manner. Given the circumstances, it’s understandable as he is human, and the loss of his father has deeply affected him.
Following assistance from paramedics, Stephen was given a call to speak with his mother, so she could be reassured that he was alright.
Currently, he’s at home taking it easy, regretting deeply the public backlash he encountered due to his reaction to the anesthesia.
A representative for Stephen shared with TopMob that Stephen has faced a particularly challenging period in the last few weeks. The loss of his dear father has impacted him deeply, causing significant distress and emotional strain.
Yesterday, I underwent a medical procedure. After receiving the anesthesia, I had a couple of drinks, which in turn left me feeling unwell.
Stephen has consistently received support from his team, ITV executives, as well as his longtime friend and coworker, Holly Willoughby.
The popular game show host, who hails from east London, was born in 1977 to parents who were both traders in the market – Christopher and Maureen.
He started off as a magician before going on to become one of Britain’s most popular TV presenters.
In my personal experience, I wholeheartedly attribute my achievements to the tireless efforts of my parents. They poured their hearts and souls into raising not just me, but also my three siblings. It’s an understatement to say they worked hard.
