Okay, so I just watched this movie, The Good Boy, and it’s wild. It’s directed by Jan Komasa, who was trying out English-language films for the first time, and it starts with this guy, Tommy – he’s 19 and a bit of a troublemaker – getting snatched up after a night out. He wakes up chained in some dude named Chris’s basement, and that’s when things really get interesting.
Chris and his wife, Kathryn, try to change Tommy’s bad behavior and help him see his mistakes. Tommy feels trapped and constantly tries to escape their manipulative tactics, but finds himself forced to comply.

The critically acclaimed film, The Good Boy, has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It first premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival and was also shown at the BFI London Film Festival in October.
We loved the lead actors’ fantastic performances and said the film is truly unique. We described it as a captivating mix of dark thriller, quirky comedy, and meaningful drama – a combination that will keep you glued to the screen.
Man, this thriller is getting some serious buzz! The Standard called it totally heart-stopping, and TheWrap was blown away by the acting – they said Graham and Boon were incredible. Flickering Myth said it was a dark, twisted ride that just kept you guessing, but in a really fun way. I’m definitely adding this to my watchlist!
It’s absolutely not one you’ll want to miss when it lands in cinemas this March.
The Good Boy is released in UK and Irish cinemas on 20 March by Signature Entertainment.
The latest issue of Living Legends is now available, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can purchase ‘Dolly at 80’ at newsstands or online for only £8.99.
