Stephanie Waring stuns in a sweeping ivory gown at her UK wedding to Tom Thornton-Brookes – one month on from her elopement to the Maldives

At her UK wedding on Monday, Stephanie Waring was radiantly elegant in an ivory gown – a little over a month since her intimate beach ceremony in the Maldives.
The former Hollyoaks star, 46, married her partner of three years Tom Thornton-Brookes in a secret July ceremony.
However, on Monday, there was quite the gathering, attended by Stephanie’s fellow actors from Hollyoaks, namely Ross Adams, Gabriel Clark, and Kelly Condron.
Stephanie donned a dress that boasted a matte upper portion and a silky lower section, paired with ivory-heeled sandals and an elegant headpiece.
Tom donned a sharp, navy-colored suit paired with a crisp white shirt and a sleek black tie. His gaze was filled with affection as he admired his newly wedded spouse.
At the wedding, Stephanie’s two daughters – Mia, who is 18 years old, and Lexi, aged 13 – attended in place of their mother, who was absent for her Maldives marriage ceremony.
In July, Stephanie shared that their spontaneous wedding simply felt fitting and they eagerly seized the opportunity to tie the knot overseas.
Stephanie and Tom tied the knot at the five-star Ifuru Island resort after a last-minute decision.
In the images released by OK! Magazine, the actress was radiantly beautiful while wearing an A-line dress featuring a fitted bodice and intricate embellishments.
And Stephanie made sure to FaceTime her teen daughters to show off her gown.
In an exclusive conversation with OK! Magazine, here’s how I shared my heartwarming story: “During our serene getaway in the Maldives, Tom unexpectedly popped the question by asking, ‘Shall we make this trip even more special by getting married?’ To which, I gleefully agreed, saying, ‘Absolutely!'”
Tom added: ‘I was having a look online at where we were staying and I saw they did weddings.
I tend to act spontaneously in certain aspects, which is why it seemed fitting. We quickly seized the opportunity that presented itself.
Stephanie went on to explain: ‘I spoke with Lexi over FaceTime just prior, and upon seeing my wedding dress, she broke down in tears. She’s a hilarious and compassionate person, genuinely thrilled for us. Lexi adores Tom deeply.’
In March 2021, when Stephanie and Tom confirmed their relationship on Instagram, she publicly revealed that Tom was her partner, having dated him for a couple of months prior.
In December of that particular year, they became officially betrothed. It was then that Steph disclosed that Tom had popped the question during their first anniversary celebration.

The mother-of-two shares, Lexi, with ex Dan Hooper, and Mia, with an undisclosed former partner.
Stephanie briefly dated businessman Riad Erraji – ex-husband of Natasha Hamilton – in 2015 before having a short-lived romance with Rick Shore.

For Stephanie, the weddings have provided a welcome source of positivity amidst the distress she felt following her termination from Hollyoaks in April, where she had worked for 28 years.
The actress shared with her followers on social platforms that she was deeply saddened when informed that her extended character in the struggling soap opera would be phased out due to budget reductions.
