Stephanie Seymour, 57, posed nude for Playboy and was a Victoria’s Secret Angel – see the ’80s supermodel now

Stephanie Seymour was a pinup in the 1980s thanks to her great looks.

She rose to international supermodel fame, working with iconic models like Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Claudia Schiffer.

The stunning 57-year-old model graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Vogue, and previously worked as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

The photogenic wonder was hired by top designers such as Versace and Fendi.

She gained attention for her relationships, first dating Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses in 1991, and later marrying magazine publisher Peter Brant in 1995.

In 2014, Seymour became a global face for Estée Lauder, and she also made a guest appearance on the TV show Law & Order.

She still looks amazing! The New Yorker turned heads on the red carpet at Monday’s CFDA Awards. Check out the photos!

Born in San Diego, California, Seymour started modeling as a teen for local papers.

In 1983, at just 15 years old, she reached the finals of the first-ever Elite Model Management Look of the Year competition, which is now known as Elite Model Look.

Seymour posed for the Victoria’s Secret catalogs.

Seymour became popular with Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine, appearing in it twice: once in March 1991 and again in February 1993.

In 1998, Seymour wrote Stephanie Seymour’s Beauty Secrets for Dummies.

In 2006, she appeared in a campaign for Gap with her children.

For its fall/winter 2007/2008 campaign, Salvatore Ferragamo used supermodels Seymour and Claudia Schiffer.

For the September 2013 issue of Interview magazine, titled ‘Model’, Seymour posed alongside fellow supermodels including Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Daria Werbowy, Christy Turlington, and Amber Valletta.

Seymour co-founded and launched the lingerie line Raven & Sparrow in 2017.

And she looked amazing on the cover of Vanity Fair in 2023.

Seymour began their acting career playing Cynna Stone, a character who handles explosives, in the video game Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller.

She had the unique role of being a real person performing in a game that was almost entirely created using computer-generated imagery.

In 2000, Seymour played Helen Frankenthaler in the movie Pollock.

In 2002, she appeared as Sara Lindstrom in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent called ‘Crazy’.

When she was 14, she started a relationship with John Casablancas, the married head of Elite Model Management, who was 42 at the time. They lived together for a while before she ended things.

She was married to guitarist Tommy Andrews from 1989 to 1990, and they have a son named Dylan.

By the middle of 1991, she began a relationship with Axl Rose, the frontman of Guns N’ Roses. She also appeared in the band’s music videos for ‘Don’t Cry’ and ‘November Rain’. They became engaged, but ended their relationship in February 1993.

In August 1993, Rose filed a lawsuit against Seymour, alleging he physically assaulted her and stole jewelry valued at over $100,000.

Seymour countersued claiming he was physically abusive.

Seymour called Erin Everly, Rose’s former wife, to the stand as a witness, claiming she too had been abused by him. The legal cases were ultimately resolved out of court.

Soon after ending her relationship with Rose, Seymour started seeing Peter Brant, a married man with five children. Their son, Peter II, was born in December 1993.

Seymour and Brant got married in Paris in July 1995. They had two children: a son named Harry in 1996, and a daughter in 2004. After nearly 14 years together, Seymour filed for divorce in March 2009, but the couple later reconciled in 2010.

Harry passed away in January 2021 at the age of 24 due to an accidental overdose of prescription medication. He had been battling addiction for several years prior to his death.

She revealed last year that she wears clothes that belonged to her late son. She explained it brings her comfort and helps her feel close to him, as they are his beloved outfits.

She explained to WSJ. magazine that she wore a suit belonging to Harry for the photoshoot. She keeps it in her dressing room – a large space where she also does her makeup and essentially lives while she’s working.

‘I looked at that suit one night and I said, ‘I’m going to put it on.’ It fit me.

‘It still feels so good to put his clothes on.

I packed away all of his belongings in large trunks, and I’ve been thinking it would be nice to continue photographing his clothes – I believe he’d really appreciate that. There are plenty of women who would be thrilled to wear them and be in pictures, and I’m looking forward to making that happen.

I’ll never forget how Harry and his brother Peter always had such a great eye for style. Even when we were kids, they loved picking out what I’d wear, especially to those parent-teacher meetings! They were always so involved and had such a knack for putting outfits together, it was adorable.

She fondly remembered a sweet game they used to play when her children were in elementary school. She’d let them pick out her outfit, and they would carefully examine all her clothes – even her vintage pieces – spreading everything across the floor.

Once, Harry chose a light blue, old-fashioned Dior dress and coordinating Manolo Blahnik heels.

She explained that she once told Harry, ‘I can’t wear a vintage designer dress to a parent-teacher conference,’ and he simply responded, ‘Why not?’

Stephanie recently shared that her oldest son, Dylan – whose father is her ex-husband Tommy Andrews – welcomed a baby boy in October. They named the child Harry, in memory of Dylan’s late half-brother.
