Stephanie Davis openly discussed the feelings of loneliness she experienced when her son was a newborn, by posting a heartfelt throwback picture along with her emotions.

In June, the actress (aged 31) announced her breakup with former partner Joseph McKalroy, who is Samuel’s father – their son was born in January, making it only four months since their family expansion.

This week, Stephanie offered a glimpse into the pre-separation period by posting a photo showing her tears while embracing her son.

The photograph was snapped while Samuel was only four weeks old, at a time when he was still involved with Joseph.

The scene depicted Stephanie weeping, and in the caption, she admitted feeling lonely and empty as she pondered upon what was supposed to be a joyous period.

She titled the photo: “Feeling incredibly lonely despite it being supposedly a joyous period. I appear haggard from all the tears and empty-eyed. Just four weeks into this new place.

In late June, an actress from Hollywood shared with her followers that she had ended her relationship.

The news of their separation is confirmed following attentive fans noticing that Steph did not acknowledge Joseph on Father’s Day.

She did, however, make a tribute to her own dad on Instagram.

In the post, Steph expressed appreciation towards her father by saying, ‘You are not like most men.’ or ‘Few men compare to you.’

One supporter subsequently responded with: “Have you seen Joe?” Another chimed in, suggesting: “I believe they’ve parted ways,” while yet another expressed their concern: “I hope everything is alright between you and Joe.

The actor from Hollyoaks and Coronation Street experiences yet another significant turn in their tumultuous romantic journey, following a separation.
