Stephanie Davis and her partner, Joe McKalroy, have shared the exciting news that they’re welcoming a baby boy into their lives next year. This will be their first child together.
The actress, previously known for her roles in Hollyoaks and Corrie, aged 31, who has a seven-year-old son named Caben with ex-partner and former Big Brother star Jeremy McConnell, opened up about her emotional roller coaster of a fertility experience following a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2021.
In my expertise, I’ve found myself sharing stories of couples who, after two fruitless years of attempting to start a family, were considering In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Yet, fate had other plans, as one such couple conceived naturally.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve been diligently taking pregnancy tests every month, documenting each negative result for my peace of mind. This time around, I found myself at my mother-in-law’s house, feeling a mix of emotions as I took yet another test. To my utter shock and disbelief, the results came back positive! It’s hard to describe the rollercoaster of feelings that surged through me, but I couldn’t help but think about all those times I captured those negative results on video. If only I had skipped that one time, who knows what might have been different? This unexpected news has certainly thrown a wrench in my plans, but I can’t deny the excitement and anticipation that comes with this new chapter of life.
In 2021, she reminisced about the emotional moment she shared with Joe, whom she met in a therapy group, when they both cried upon learning from an ultrasound that they were expecting a son.
