Steph McGovern’s Cliff Crash Leaves Holly Willoughby in Tears During Bear Hunt Challenge!

Reportedly, Steph McGovern had to seek medical attention following an accident where she collided with a cliff while participating in a demanding contest on the television program titled Bear Hunt.

In this Netflix show, referred to as “the ultimate survival test”, an assortment of unconventional celebrities are left stranded in the dense Central American wilderness, serving as potential prey for the formidable Bear Grylls.

Nevertheless, the event turned out to be quite perilous for presenter Steph, aged 42, as an unexpected mishap caused her to nearly fracture her nose when she collided face-first with a rocky cliff, according to The Sun’s report.

Steph reportedly found it difficult to walk following her being covered in bruises, causing concern that she might have suffered a concussion at some point.

In another account, it’s been reported that the shocking incident caused host Holly Willoughby to struggle to hold back her emotions during Steph’s distressing situation. There were worries that the reporter might not be able to carry on.

Fortunately, the actress was cleared to carry on after 24 hours, despite the fact that her injury from the filming was evident by the bandage on her nose in the trailer footage.

According to a source, not just Steph, but everyone who witnessed it found it incredibly frightening, including the cast, crew, and Holly herself.

Holly appeared quite upset, nearly on the verge of tears, and at one moment she concealed her face using her own hands.

Initially, it seemed uncertain if Steph would need to depart due to health issues, so she underwent observation for 24 hours. However, Steph proved to be resilient; she was adamant about staying, and fortunately, she received approval to carry on.

TopMob have contacted representatives for Steph and Netflix for comment.

On the same show where Steph faced peril, it came to light that interior designer Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen narrowly escaped death due to an unforeseen mishap while filming for Netflix.

Last May, while on location in Costa Rica for a shoot, I joined a group of renowned personalities participating in a thrilling water challenge. This involved me being instructed to dive off a boat straight into the rushing river – quite an invigorating experience!

Sources say that he became entangled in a bungee rope and got stuck underneath the boat.

For a few pulse-pounding minutes, he was submerged beneath the water’s surface due to the stunt, causing him to lose consciousness. Fortunately, members of the overseeing team rescued him from the depths.

59-year-old Laurence was revived on the beach by survival expert and ex-Chief Scout, Bear Grylls – known for his role of ‘guiding’ celebrities in the series.

According to a source, TopMob learned that Laurence appeared greatly upset, and this reaction seemed to be shared by everyone around him. He expressed his belief that he had narrowly escaped a dangerous situation.

Initially, I believed the unfolding events were so grim that they might be deemed unsuitable for broadcast on Netflix. Yet, it seems there’s a shift, and it appears these incidents could find their place within their programming.

‘Netflix were very very apologetic about it afterwards.’

Beginning on February 5th, Holly Willoughby will host a show where twelve famous personalities, such as ex-tennis star Boris Becker, Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas, Spice Girl Mel B, and model Lottie Moss, participate in various jungle challenges.

In a trailer released this week, Mel B says that the experience is ‘terrifying.’

This month, there have been rumors about disagreements among some famous personalities that allegedly grew so intense that the show’s management felt compelled to convene a meeting in an attempt to diffuse the tension.
