Stellar Blade’s Nikke DLC Adds Boss Fight and Mini-Games

On June 11th, the game Stellar Blade debuts on PC. Simultaneously, a DLC collaboration with Goddess of Victory: Nikke, another title by Shift Up, will be released for both PC and PlayStation 5. This DLC brings a wealth of new content, and players are particularly eager for the epic boss fight that blends aspects from both games. Moreover, players can look forward to trying out several fresh game modes, one of which is modeled after Goddess of Victory: Nikke, as demonstrated in recently unveiled footage.

On June 11th, when the “Goddess of Victory: Nikke” DLC drops for “Stellar Blade”, I’ll have the chance to don outfits in-game inspired by the character Rapi from “Nikke”. What’s even more exciting is that by overcoming a fresh boss battle, I can unlock a brand new outfit, Surface Refugee, for Eve, plus some tunes straight from “Nikke”!

Instead of sticking to the traditional mechanics found in Stellar Blade, Shift Up has introduced some fresh gameplay elements for Goddess of Victory: Nikke. These include an over-the-shoulder cover-based shooting mode, a fishing mechanic where players can net rewards such as characters’ dolls from Nikke, and a “Catch Me If You Can” mode that challenges players to pursue a character within the game.

In addition to the PC version of Stellar Blade, you’ll also find a host of upgrades. The graphics have been fine-tuned for PC systems, and at launch, it will accommodate ultrawide monitors. It offers boosted frame rates, support for texture packs, and compatibility with the PS5 DualSense controller too.

As an enthusiast, I can’t wait to get my hands on the comprehensive edition of “Stellar Blade,” the masterpiece by Shift Up. Pre-ordering this game not only grants me early access but also bestows additional perks such as in-game goods and customization options. To sweeten the deal even more, PlayStation 5 users will have the privilege of playing the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC on June 11th when it becomes available!
