As a dedicated gamer, I always aim for action games to run at a smooth 60 frames per second (FPS). That’s the standard I set for myself, and it holds true here too. The graphics presets we’re discussing all strive for that 60 FPS mark, with a minimum resolution of 1080p. I’m assuming this means they’re rendering natively at that resolution, ensuring a top-notch gaming experience.
As a gaming enthusiast, to enjoy a smooth 60 FPS performance at 1440p with high graphics settings for the game Stellar Blade – which, being based on Unreal Engine 4, requires some power – I’d recommend pairing an RTX 2070 Super GPU with a Ryzen 5 3600X CPU. Although these components have been around for a while, they still hold their ground in today’s gaming landscape.
For a smooth 4K gaming experience, you’ll need a more powerful GPU, such as the RTX 3080 or the RX 7900 XT. These GPUs are capable of handling 4K graphics to an extent. It appears that running Stellar Blade at its highest settings with a frame rate of 60 FPS should not be an issue, provided you’re comfortable with this performance level.
A solid-state drive (SSD) that has 75 gigabytes (GB) of available space is essential, regardless of the game settings, and a general recommendation is to have 16 gigabytes (GB) of Random Access Memory (RAM) for optimal performance.
Stellar Blade PC features
Players can expect the following features in Stellar Blade on PC at launch:
- NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3, and frame generation
- Unlocked frame rate
- Ultrawide support up to 32:9 aspect ratio
- DualSense controller support, Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
- Higher resolution environment textures
In addition to the PC release, Stellar Blade is getting new content on both PC and PS5:
- 25 new nano-suit outfits
- Brand new boss against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels
- Support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese facial animation
Stellar Blade release date for PC
Stellar Blade is coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on June 11, 2025.
I’m leaning towards being hopeful about the PC version of Stellar Blade. The PS5 launch was virtually perfect in terms of smoothness, keeping a steady 60 FPS all the way through. However, ports of games built with Unreal Engine have historically underperformed on PC compared to their console versions. Since this isn’t an Unreal Engine 5 release, I feel more confident about the quality of this port.
