Stellar Blade Is ‘The Best-Selling PlayStation-Exclusive Launch IP In History’ For PC

Okay, so I’ve been following the updates on Stellar Blade, and honestly, it’s blowing everyone away. It’s crazy to think it’s actually outselling games like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and even Spider-Man to become the best-selling PlayStation exclusive on PC. I did not see that coming!

There’s been a lot of exciting news about Stellar Blade lately. A sequel is officially in the works, and even bigger news – the original Stellar Blade is now coming to multiple platforms. The game was already a hit when it launched and continues to grow in popularity and sales.

Shift Up has revealed a new graphic showing this to be the case.

Stellar Blade Destroys Other PlayStation Exclusives On PC

Shift Up, the team behind Stellar Blade, recently shared a chart highlighting the most popular PlayStation games that have also been released on PC.

According to data shared by Genki, the six best-selling PC games were recently highlighted. Stellar Blade led the pack, reaching 192,000 players simultaneously on Steam when it launched. Ghost of Tsushima came in second, with a peak of 77,000 concurrent players.

The headline sentence also says: “Best-selling PlayStation-exclusive launch IP in history.”

The data clearly shows Stellar Blade was a hit. We previously reported that PlayStation’s Shuhei Yoshida was very enthusiastic about the game after trying it, and it’s now clear PC players quickly embraced it as well.
