Stellar Blade Is Sony’s Most Successful Single-Player PC Game to Date, Says Shift Up

I’m a big fan of Stellar Blade, and it’s cool to see the developers, Shift Up, sharing some behind-the-scenes info about the game now that it’s out on PC! It’s awesome they’re giving us a closer look.

So, I’ve been hearing a ton about this new game where you play as Eve, and she’s trying to save the world from some seriously scary monsters. Apparently, it’s broken records – people are saying it’s the biggest launch for a brand new PlayStation game ever. I’m guessing that means sales across both PlayStation and PC, but it doesn’t seem to include Helldivers 2 in that comparison.

As the image shows, the game reached a peak of over 192,000 players playing at the same time, which is remarkable considering it’s designed for a single player.

As a huge fan, I’m so thrilled to hear that Stellar Blade has already sold over 3 million copies across PC and PS5! And it’s even more amazing when you realize that number is just from the first five days of its release on PC – I’m sure it’s already much higher now!

Stellar Blade has proven very popular with PC gamers, and the extensive modding community is likely boosting its success even further. While mod support is a big plus, it’s best not to focus on that aspect too much.

Anyway, it’s fair to say Sony did well to snag this one.

I’m so excited to hear that the developers are already planning a sequel to Stellar Blade! They’re even hiring people for it right now, which means things are really moving forward. It’s awesome to think about what they’ll come up with next!
