In this intriguing game, you’ll have the chance to assume the role of one out of six unique characters. Each character offers distinct outcomes. The narrative primarily delves into science fiction, tracing the journey of a chaotic band of tech-savvy young scholars who possess the ability to alter the past by utilizing a specially modified microwave through mail. However, things take a turn for the worse when SERN, a powerful organization, enters the fray.
The game features a phone trigger system, with an original plot from the creator
In the past, I’ve enjoyed watching an anime series, and now I’m eager to give this game a try since it shares a similar phone trigger system. This system lets you receive calls and messages, with your actions (responding or ignoring) shaping the game’s storyline. What intrigues me is how the plot unfolds based on the choices and responses you make.
Beyond this, it boasts an exclusive storyline penned by Chiyomaru Shikura, who was instrumental in creating and overseeing all six primary installments of the Science Adventure series. I’m thrilled that the game offers fully-voiced dialogues, a key element for a game adapted from the acclaimed novel.
STEINS;GATE has made its way onto both Android and iOS devices through Crunchyroll Game Vault. If this game sparks your curiosity, you can easily download it from the Google Play Store or App Store. For those who aren’t already members of our Mega Fans or Ultimate Fans of Crunchyroll Premium, signing up or upgrading will grant you access to an assortment of anime-themed mobile games at no additional cost within the Crunchyroll Game Vault.
