Steamy On-Set Romance: Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett Spark Rumors in New Film

Anne Hathaway and Josh Hartnett appear deeply affectionate as they film a new project in New York City.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been immersed in the captivating world of Verity, a riveting psychological thriller adaptation based on Colleen Hoover’s 2018 novel. This project, amidst the intriguing legal drama surrounding another film adaption – It Ends With Us, has kept me engrossed and excited.

Initially, Hathaway and Hartnett are spotted strolling down a city street at night, both elegantly attired, their hands clasped tightly, and flashing bright grins. They seem to be enjoying an evening out together.

After that, they gradually move nearer to each other and start running parallel to the busy road, while a man who seems to be their driver remains stationed behind a vehicle.

In this quick dash, the primary actor assumes control, still clutching hands with his fellow performer. Both seem to share a moment of amusement simultaneously.

In the given setting, Hathaway exudes elegance by donning a front-cropped red dress, strategically accentuating her legs, while the length of the skirt extends towards the ground at the back, cascading gracefully.

In the heat of their passionate celebration, the actress from The Idea Of You, aged 42, seemed to be shielding her upper body with a black coat as the straps of her dress began slipping off.

In the overall look, the costume team dressed the native New Yorker in a pair of gold-strapped high heels, complemented by various pieces of jewelry.

Completing the overall appearance, her longish dark brown hair falls slightly below her shoulders, resembling a more extended version of a bob, sporting a part on the left side.

As Hartnett, aged 46, donned a timeless black tuxedo and bowtie, it was later in the filming that his character discarded the jacket and wore his bowtie casually off to one side of his collar.

This year, the Pearl Harbor star sported a shorter cut for his hair, a style that features bangs swept back from a central parting and falls partly over his ears.

It seems like the on-screen pair has either stepped out from their waiting vehicle, or skipped it entirely, given that the driver is standing by his car, intently watching the duo as they dash away. I’m practically on the edge of my seat!

This week, I’ve found myself in the vibrant New York City borough of Queens, capturing some incredible moments on camera, just like we did in a different setting not long ago.

In E News’ report, it’s stated that Hathaway portrays Verity Crawford, a renowned author struggling to complete her new book following a car crash. On the other hand, Hartnett assumes the character of Verity’s husband, Jeremy Crawford.

In addition, the movie features Dakota Johnson portraying Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling author tasked with completing the gripping book series of Verity.

Shortly following her arrival at the opulent Crawford estate, Ashleigh gradually realizes that all is not as it appears. This revelation stems from the discovery of an incomplete, potentially damning manuscript hidden away, which could expose shocking truths about the family’s past, Deadline reports.

In November, it was revealed that Hathaway would star as the main character in Verity. This announcement came only a month prior to the escalation of the legal dispute involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni from It Ends With Us.

In a lawsuit filed in December, Lively alleged that Baldoni engaged in sexual harassment and orchestrated a smear campaign against her. Meanwhile, Baldoni counter-sued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, accusing them of defamation and extortion in a $400 million suit filed last month.

Both sides of the legal wrangling deny the accusations made by the other party in legal documents. 

Michael Showalter is set to direct the upcoming Verity movie, which is adapted from the top-selling New York Times book by Hoover.

I’ve been absolutely thrilled to learn that the brilliant minds behind these drafts include none other than Hoover, Lauren Levine, Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna, Will Honley, and April Maguire! Each of them has contributed their unique insights, making this project a true collaboration of creative genius.

So far the theatrical premiere date for Verify has not yet been made public.
