Oh, the anticipation is palpable! As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for atmospheric, stealth-action adventures, the trailer for Steel Seed has me all worked up! The futuristic metropolis, reminiscent of a blend between ReCore and Metroid Dread, has my gaming senses tingling with excitement.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m excitedly sharing the news that the dev team at Storm in a Teacup unveiled a captivating trailer for their upcoming masterpiece, Steel Seed – a heart-pounding blend of stealth and adventure. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

The game takes place in a mysterious, futuristic cityscape with multiple intriguing influences woven into its atmosphere. It carries traces of ReCore, an action-adventure game developed by Armature Studio that hasn’t received as much attention. Additionally, it shares some resemblance with Metroid Dread, particularly in the design of certain robotic enemies, which are reminiscent of the E.M.M.I.s from that title.

The description reads:

This exciting trailer hints at additional storylines and displays fresh combat sequences, formidable enemies, and captivating sci-fi settings that Zoe and her aerial drone partner, KOBY, will face during their dangerous quest to unearth the ominous secrets buried within the menacing facility.

Steel Seed is out in 2025, and it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
