StarSavior is a new role-playing game (RPG) created by Studio Bside, the team behind Counter:Side. In the game, you command a team of Saviors and harness the power of the StarSavior. Ranking the Arcanas based on their role and utility in StarSavior
Okay, so as a fan, I’d describe this game as if Umamusume and Honkai Star Rail had a baby! It’s really interesting because it combines training characters – kind of like raising those horse girls – with the strategic, turn-based battles you see in Honkai Star Rail. But it also throws in rogue-like elements, meaning you’re constantly building and customizing your characters. Basically, you train up these ‘Saviors’ at the NOA Academy through story-driven ‘Journey Careers’, and then you get to test them out in both player-versus-player (PVP) and player-versus-environment (PVE) modes. It’s a really cool mix of genres!
Simply training up Saviors and putting them on teams won’t be enough to succeed. The game’s core mechanic, using Arcana cards, works a lot like the Support Card System in Umamusume. Your trained Saviors become powerful relics – Artifacts – that boost your main Savior and the entire team’s abilities. Given the game features PvP and a defined meta, I highly recommend focusing your resources on only the strongest, top-tier units and cards.

No Pain No Gain and The Indomitable Masterpiece for Strength
Both “No Pain No Gain” and “Indomitable Masterpiece” are currently top-tier cards for boosting a team’s power. “No Pain No Gain” increases attack and critical hit rate by 6% each, while “Indomitable Masterpiece” boosts critical damage by 12% and max HP by 4%. These cards are essential for players focused on damage output and competitive PvP play.
A Knight’s Oath and Young Lady of Stranis for Vitality
The “Young Lady of Stranis” artifact boosts maximum HP by 8%, a significant benefit for characters designed to withstand a lot of damage. “A Knight’s Oath” increases maximum Speed by 8, which affects turn order in all game modes. This is particularly valuable in player-versus-player (PvP) battles, where going first often determines the winner.
Nostalgia Strikes Back for Endurance
The Hilde Main card is a limited-time item, only available during this special collaboration. The card, called “Nostalgia Strikes Back,” is unique in the game because it boosts your ability to counterattack. It works by allowing you to strike first, then giving you a 20% chance to powerfully counter any enemy who attacks you.

To significantly boost your tank’s defenses, consider using the card A Satisfying Meal. It provides a large 2% increase to maximum Toughness and a 20% boost to Crit Damage Resistance. This is especially useful in fast-paced PvP battles where unexpected attacks happen frequently, helping you withstand those surprising moments.
