StarSavior announces closed beta test (CBT) for mobile, kicking off on July 23 in South Korea

Studio Bside, known for its game Counter:Side, has unveiled a closed beta test (CBT) for their eagerly awaited RPG, StarSavior. This event is scheduled from July 23 to 29 and will be available on both Android and iOS platforms. Originally code-named Project Star, the game was first disclosed last November with an intended release in the second half of 2025.

Become the Savior of a fading world in StarSavior 

If you haven’t heard yet, StarSavior is a captivating role-playing game in which you take part in turn-based battles. The story unfolds in stunning 3D animations and the setting is the Nebula Observatory Organization (NOA). In this adventure, you assume the role of a Savior, tasked with acquiring Star power to save a world that’s on the brink of extinction.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about the prospect of teaming up with a cast of endearing characters! The game also offers an engaging training system that lets me work closely with these characters, honing their skills in preparation for the challenges ahead.

How to apply for the StarSavior CBT

The exciting news is that StarSavior is preparing to begin its closed beta testing (CBT) from July 23 to 29, on both Android and iOS platforms, in South Korea. According to a representative from Studio Bside, the game is almost complete, with a release expected later in this year.

Here’s how you can apply for StarSavior’ upcoming CBT:

  • First, visit their official website.
  • There, tap on Apply for CBT.
  • Now, select either Google or iOS, and provide your email address.
  • Fill all the boxes and tap on Apply for CBT button, and you’re done.

You have until July 22 to register for the CBT, but it’s advisable to submit your application earlier to increase your chances of gaining access. On a personal note, while I can’t join in myself, I’m eagerly anticipating the gameplay, the main storyline, and the diverse Journey arcs of all the playable characters.
