Starbucks Japan Debuts First Ever Spicy Frappuccino
Summary
- Starbucks Japan debuted its first spicy Frappuccino, the Hot Honey Oriental Mango & Tea
- The drink blends hot honey with mango, jasmine tea and soy milk for balance
- Available until July 8, it’s not recommended for those sensitive to spice or young children
Starbucks Japan is adding a new twist to summer drinks by introducing their first-ever Spicy Honey Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino as they embrace the summer heat.
According to SoraNews24, the special menu item derives its spiciness from the blend of hot honey sauce. To temper the heat of the hot honey, the drink includes mango pulp, jasmine tea, and mildly sweet soy milk. It is garnished with mango chunks at the bottom and a layer of soft whipped cream on top.
As a passionate fan, I want to share a safety tip: Starbucks Japan advises that their Spicy Honey Drink might not suit everyone, particularly those with sensitivity towards spicy food or young children in elementary school and below. Yet, the establishment is considerate enough to let customers customize their drink by specifying the amount of hot honey they desire. Enjoy your drink, but remember to adjust it according to your taste!
The Hot Honey Oriental Mango & Tea Frappuccino is available at Starbucks Japan chains until July 8.
