With Lando Calrissian joining the fray and new cosmetics on offer, it’s clear that Ubisoft is committed to expanding this game in a way that keeps players engaged.
Even though you might have completed your initial playthrough of Star Wars Outlaws, there’s no need to part ways with it permanently. The imminent launch of its first downloadable content promises fresh adventures that you won’t want to skip!
Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card introduces a wealth of fresh content into the game, with the standout feature likely being a new playable narrative. A key aspect of this update is the introduction of Lando Calrissian into the game through the Kay Vess mission. Although it’s not an extensive adventure, it offers players a chance to engage with a beloved Star Wars character at a thrilling moment in the galaxy.
Beyond just the Wild Card DLC, there are additional changes coming as well. These include significant game overhauls intended to address player concerns from the initial release, along with fresh cosmetic options and a Steam launch, all happening concurrently with the Wild Card DLC.
Based on Ubisoft’s plan for Star Wars Outlaws, it seems there are more Story Packs (as they’re referred to on their official site) in development. One of them, named A Pirate’s Fortune, is expected to be released at a later date.
It’s true that games need to generate revenue, and one method they use is by providing Season Passes, which grant players access to unique content. Those who purchase a Season Pass will also gain extra bundles. However, the basic game on Steam will be available to all, so a Season Pass won’t be necessary for it.
