Star Wars Outlaws revel Hondo Ohnaka and Lando Calrissian for Season Pass holders
As a die-hard Star Wars fan who’s been following this galaxy far, far away since the original trilogy graced our screens, I must say I’m thoroughly excited about Ubisoft’s latest reveal for Star Wars Outlaws! The prospect of delving deeper into the lives of two beloved characters like Lando Calrissian and Hondo Ohnaka has me eagerly counting down the days.
Ubisoft has unveiled the timeline for releasing “Star Wars Outlaw” and shared that Season Pass holders will receive additional narrative content alongside their game at a future date. These story packs can either be bought individually or as a bundle, and they’re set to include tales featuring beloved characters Lando Calrissian and Hondo Ohnaka.
As a thrilled fan, I can’t help but share the exciting news: I’ll be getting my hands on the first story pack, “Wild Card,” set for release in Fall 2024. Ubisoft has given us a tantalizing glimpse into this adventure, hinting that I’ll be taking on the role of a character named Kay, who’s tasked with infiltrating a high-stakes Sabacc tournament. However, things take an unexpected turn when I cross paths with the legendary gambler Lando Calrissian. It seems there’s another game at play here that I’ll need to uncover!
In Spring 2025, we’re releasing the second installment, titled “A Pirate’s Fortune”. Here’s a sneak peek at its plot: Kay, known for her trailblazing ways, encounters Hondo Ohnaka, an old-time pirate. It appears Hondo is bent on resolving past disputes with a band of ruthless marauders.
It’s highly likely that Jim Cummings will once again lend his voice to Hondo, given his long-standing association with the character since “The Clone Wars.” The identity of Lando’s voice actor remains uncertain. The storyline takes place after “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” bridging the gap between “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.” Although Donald Glover voiced Lando in a previous series, it seems unlikely that he will do so again due to his busy schedule. Billy Dee Williams, who previously lent his voice to Lando in “Star Wars Rebels,” may reprise his role for this upcoming series as well. We’ll have to wait and see.
Season pass holders for “Star Wars Outlaws” will gain access to a special mission titled “Jabba’s Scheme” upon the game’s release. This bonus mission, although Jabba is present in the game and contributes to the main narrative, is an additional quest originating from the Hutts themselves.
