At the Toronto International Film Festival, Isaac spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of joining the upcoming “Star Wars: Starfighter” as pilot Poe Dameron, teaming up with Ryan Gosling again since their work in the 2011 film “Drive.” Isaac expressed enthusiasm about the idea and stated he was ready for it.

In American cinemas on May 28, 2027, Lucasfilm will unveil Star Wars: Starfighter. At present, the only other Star Wars film with a confirmed release date is The Mandalorian and Grogu, which is slated for May 22, 2026, about a year beforehand.
