Star Trek: Scouts Final Episodes Released on YouTube

The animated series Star Trek: Scouts, which recently finished its run after two seasons, is now available to watch in its entirety on YouTube. The final three episodes have just been added, completing the show’s availability online.

The second part of Star Trek: Scouts ended with three episodes called “Holodeck Rescues.” The first ten episodes were known as “Asteroid Blasters.” You can now watch all 20 episodes of this show for young children on the Blaze and the Monster Machines YouTube channel.

Star Trek: Scouts’ Finale Is Free on YouTube

As a big Star Trek fan, I was really excited to hear about Star Trek: Scouts when Paramount announced it during Star Trek Day in 2025. It was a totally new direction for the franchise – a free, animated series designed for preschoolers! Sadly, it looks like that adventure is over. After two seasons and 20 episodes, the show won’t be coming back for a third. It’s a shame, but I appreciate they took a chance on something so different.

With Star Trek: Scouts, Star Trek continued its effort to reach new audiences on streaming platforms, similar to how it previously aimed at slightly older kids. This approach is common for big franchises – Disney+ has Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, DC created Batwheels, Marvel made Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and Paramount is planning a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show for very young children.

Star Trek Has Ventured Into Different Genres Over the Years

Nickelodeon and CBS Studios created Star Trek: Scout, a show about three 8-year-old friends – JR, Sprocket, and Roo – as they train to become Starfleet Explorers. Each 3-to-4-minute episode follows the friends on exciting adventures where they learn, grow, and explore!

In the past ten years, Star Trek has experimented with different types of stories and shows. This includes animated comedies like Star Trek: Lower Decks, adventure series for kids like Star Trek: Prodigy, the streaming movie Star Trek: Section 31, and collections of short stories called Star Trek: Short Treks.

Now that Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will finish after its second season and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is ending, the future of Star Trek television is uncertain. Tawny Newsome, known for her voice work as Beckett Mariner on Lower Decks and her writing on Starfleet Academy, is working on a new project, but there haven’t been many recent updates about it.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds‘ creators and showrunners have pitched is official yet.

All episodes of Star Trek: Scouts are streaming now.
