The BBC just dropped the trailer for its new comedy, Twenty Twenty Six. It’s a mockumentary that continues the story of Hugh Bonneville‘s character, who keeps getting important jobs despite being incredibly clumsy, and is always surrounded by a team that’s just as inept.
Planning the world’s biggest football event is already a huge challenge, but things get even more complicated with Ian Fletcher now in charge of ensuring everything is done with ‘integrity.’ What could possibly go wrong?
The creators of the hit comedies W1A and Twenty Twelve are back with a new six-episode series. This time, the story follows Ian Fletcher, the BBC’s former Head of Values, who’s been sent to Miami to work at the world’s biggest football tournament.

The trailer reveals he’s struggling again, dealing with frustrating video calls, a skeptical American team, and – to his dismay – Will is returning.
Despite being remarkably clumsy, Hugh Skinner’s ex-intern, now Ian’s assistant, keeps accidentally helping people out of trouble. Will he manage to save Ian this time, even if it’s just by luck?

David Tennant returns as the voice of the story, and the cast now features Marli Siu, Nicole Sadie Sawyerr, Joe Hewetson, Erin Kellyman, Nick Blood, Jimena Larraguivel, Stephen Kunken, and Chelsey Crisp.
And we don’t have long to wait for the new show, as it premieres next week.

Skinner recently mentioned it had been a long time since he played Will in W1A. He described the character as still being utterly incompetent, which he finds delightfully fun to portray. He also expressed how much he’s enjoyed reconnecting with both familiar and new members of the show’s cast and crew.
John Morton, the show’s creator, expressed his excitement and gratitude to the BBC for allowing him to continue Ian’s story, now set in Miami. He’s eager to see how the plot unfolds.
The new series, Twenty Twenty Six, premieres on Wednesday, April 8th, on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. You can also watch previous seasons, Twenty Twelve and W1A, on iPlayer.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant 100-page magazine dedicated to Harry Styles, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
