Stacey Solomon reveals the reality of being an influencer as she self shoots her latest Rehab. product on a boat in Lake Como

Stacey Solomon showed fans what it’s really like to be an influencer by filming her newest Rehab product herself while on a boat in Lake Como, Italy.

Stacey Solomon, 36, and her husband Joe Swash, 43, were back on TV Tuesday night with their reality show, ‘Stacey & Joe,’ which follows their family life. The show was filmed back in June.

Stacey, an investor in the hair care brand since 2023, traveled to a beautiful location to launch her new shimmer spray. She also arranged a boat trip to take photos for promotional materials.

Oh my god, she was just *gorgeous* lying back there on the boat! She was trying to show off this new thing she’s promoting, but she was laughing and said, ‘Seriously, how do those influencers make it look so easy? All I can see is… well, you know!’ It was so relatable and honestly, just made me love her even more. She’s so real!

She had imagined they’d pause for photos right in the middle of the lake, but it’s too choppy and that’s not happening. It’s really rough out there.

The captain of the boat replied laughing, ‘this isn’t bad’.

Let me tell you, shooting on a boat is *never* as glamorous as it looks! I had to do three quick changes – a gorgeous maxi dress, then a swimsuit, and finally a little satin mini – all while the boat was rocking. Honestly, it was a bit scary, and I definitely didn’t feel secure out there. It was a challenge, to say the least!

While her team filmed and photographed her, Stacey expressed how self-conscious she felt, saying she could only focus on her chest and wondering how models pose so easily. She added that if the content performs well, they’ll consider hiring a professional photographer.

It’s a risky job where you constantly feel insecure, and being an influencer is actually quite demanding.

She added: ‘Getting changed on a boat in the middle of what felt like a monsoon, was interesting.

‘Hopefully I make it to the end without throwing up.’

The star of Sort Your Life Out looked stunning in a black and white jumpsuit while posing in the sun.

Stacey realized that the glamorous photos of models on boats don’t show the hard work involved – it’s not as easy as it looks!

The TV personality admitted she felt a lot of pressure and was anxious about the new product launch.

After their boat trip, Stacey and her team had a delicious meal with a beautiful view.

The women playfully suggested they’d discovered George Clooney’s historic villa on Lake Como, which he bought in 2002 for $10 million.

‘It’s giving stalker, cheers!’ joked Stacey.

During a fun date night on the BBC show, Stacey performed a solo song while participating in a gospel choir with her husband, Joe.

The singer, known for appearing on Loose Women and first becoming famous on The X Factor in 2009, recently performed with a choir. She sang the song ‘To Me Your Everything’ and also had a solo part.

Joe said: ‘Our kids don’t know that Stacey can sing she only does it like 20%.’

She explained she was feeling stressed and wouldn’t be performing a solo. She doesn’t enjoy solo performances in front of an audience, as they make her feel embarrassed and put her under a lot of pressure.

After the show, Stacey excitedly shared that it was the best night and date she’d ever had.

Meanwhile Joe joked that it was completely out of his ‘comfort zone’ as he is ‘tone death’.

Stacey seems to find my discomfort hilarious – I’ve honestly never seen her laugh so much. It was so nerve-wracking, it felt like being on a reality show like The X Factor – I completely froze! Even though I’ve been performing in pantomime for 25 years, I’ve never actually sung during a show.

Earlier in the show, Stacey had a tense argument with her oldest son, Zach, about how much time he was spending online. He became upset and walked away from the cameras.

Seventeen-year-old Zach was talking to his mom in the car and mentioned the WiFi hadn’t been working the day before. She then asked him when that happened.

Zach replies: ‘Just before I saw you, 10pm.’

Stacey says she’s tired of monitoring online content, but she’s also disconnecting the internet at night to prevent her kids from playing video games too late.

A shocked Zach fires back: ‘Really? Is that what it was. I was wondering what was going on.’

With emotions running high, she angrily declared, ‘I’m still the one in control here, and you still have to follow my rules while you live in my house!’

Zach kept objecting, saying, ‘Leighton and I are already in college, so what’s the reason for doing this now?’

Honestly, I’m still worried about you being up so late. I really don’t think it’s good for you to be on it until all hours of the night, as Stacey said.

“Seriously?” Zach protested. “I don’t work until all hours of the night. And even if I did, I’d never be able to get out of bed!”

The two kept arguing, with the mother of five maintaining that her son had trouble waking up, while he confessed to sometimes staying up as late as midnight playing video games.

Zach angrily exited the car, slamming the door and yelling ‘goodbye’ as it finally stopped in front of the electric gates.
