As a dedicated follower of home renovation shows, I have to say that I am both excited and saddened by the news of Stacey Solomon’s departure from Renovation Rescue. Having watched her transform homes and lives for several seasons, it felt like she was a trusted friend who always knew just what to do to turn a tired space into a dream home. However, I am eager to see how Vogue Williams and Luke will fare in their new roles as hosts of the show.

I must admit that I am not familiar with them, but I have heard great things about their passion for DIY and their ability to bring warmth and humor to their on-screen presence. As a fan of their unique talents and infectious chemistry, I can’t wait to see how they will use their skills and charm to help others rebuild their dream homes.

I also appreciate the opportunity to see Stacey in a new light through her upcoming reality show, Stacey & Joe. Having followed her incredible career since her days on The X Factor, it’s fascinating to get a glimpse into her life outside of the spotlight with her family. I’m looking forward to seeing how she juggles her busy schedule and manages to keep her home and family running smoothly.

To lighten things up, let me share a little joke: Why did Stacey Solomon bring a ladder on vacation? Because she always wants to reach for the stars – even when she’s on holiday!

Vogue Williams and ex-Love Island contestant Luke Mabbott step in for Stacey Solomon on her popular Channel 4 program.

In April 2024, Stacey Solomon’s home renovation series, titled “Renovation Rescue,” debuted on our television screens, and it enjoyed a successful first season.

The program assists Stacey, aged 35, in aiding individuals who are in the midst of renovating their homes yet find themselves financially strapped.

Stacey shares her tips and tricks on how to save some cash in a bid to complete their project.

Fans will be happy to know that Renovation Rescue will be back for a second season.

However, as it was disclosed on Thursday, Stacey won’t continue with the show because she is set to star in a reality program similar to the Kardashians instead.

Model Vogue Williams and Love Island’s Luke Mabbott will be presenting it instead.

Talking about succeeding Stacey, Vogue (who is married to Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews) expressed her excitement: “I’ve worked on many intriguing projects throughout my career, but I am thrilled to be granted the chance to dive in and contribute to the second season of this exceptional series.

I have a strong enthusiasm for home renovations, and I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned from my Construction and Quantity Surveying degrees in real-world projects!

I’m thrilled about teaming up with Luke! We click wonderfully, and I believe he’s going to teach me quite a bit about home improvement skills.

Luke shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2020.

After finishing third alongside Demi Jones, he has since started a new relationship with Love Island 2019 contestant Lucie Donlan.

The pair have been busy renovating their own chapel in Cornwall.

Luke expressed his astonishment at being selected for the series by Channel 4, stating, “It’s absolutely astounding to me, but I couldn’t be more thrilled.

I’m thrilled about collaborating with Vogue, as I eagerly look forward to offering support and practical advice that could inspire and empower individuals, helping them transform their ideas into successful realities.

Clemency Green, our Commissioning Editor at Channel 4, expressed excitement about the return of the show “Renovation Rescue” on our network.

We’re thrilled to welcome Vogue Williams as part of our team! This move will offer viewers an unique perspective to appreciate her extraordinary abilities and skills in a fresh, unexplored way.

Through Renovation Rescue, we’re not just revamping spaces but also fostering promising fresh talents like Luke.

Without a doubt, they’ll each infuse a distinctive, genuine, and above all, authentic charm into the presentation style. I’m truly excited to witness their radiant performance unfold on-screen.

Sarah Lazenby, Executive Vice President for Hello Sunshine Unscripted UK expressed: ‘We’re thrilled to expand upon the success of our global hit Renovation Rescue with this renewal, and we can’t wait to exhibit Vogue and Luke’s exceptional skills and captivating screen partnership in the upcoming series.

This team is an ideal DIY crew, radiating both warmth and humor. I’m eagerly anticipating the creative ways they’ll employ their collective talent and enthusiasm to assist others in renovating their cherished homes.

On Thursday Stacey revealed that she and her family have filmed a reality show about their life.

This upcoming TV series called “Stacey & Joe” is set to broadcast on BBC at a later point in 20XX, and the specific airing date has not been revealed as of now.
