Stacey Solomon has quietly quit Loose Women after 13 years on the panel, the Daily Mail can reveal.
35-year-old presenter was last seen on ITV’s series in December 2024 during their 25-hour Talkathon event, which aimed to promote their Britain Get Talking campaign. Her latest appearance as a panelist was on June 3, 2024.
However, according to insiders from Loose Women, it appears that due to her commitments with other television projects, Stacey has found herself too occupied to rejoin the show. It seems like there might be a permanent break in her association with the program.
Despite not appearing on the show this season, Stacey has graced our screens before – once in 2024 and twice the year prior. Her recurring appearances can be traced as far back as 2022.
Last year, an insider from the TV world disclosed that the Loose Women team tried numerous times to invite Stacey onto their program, appreciating her as a valuable addition. However, they consistently received rejections, leading them to focus on other popular figures such as Olivia Attwood, 34, and GK Barry, 26, who also attract a younger demographic.
It is thought that the mother of five has poured all her efforts into her BAFTA-nominated BBC program, Sort Your Life Out, as well as the reality show Stacey and Joe, offering a glimpse into her domestic life at Pickle Cottage in Essex. This paraphrase aims to present the original idea in a simpler and more conversational manner while maintaining its core meaning.

Last year, it was disclosed that the team behind Loose Women went all out to invite Stacey onto the panel, as she is greatly adored by the audience and her presence consistently enhances the show’s ratings.
It’s evident that Stacey is no longer with Loose Women, as she hasn’t appeared on the panel throughout the entire year. There seem to be no upcoming plans for her to return, she wasn’t booked for any future appearances, and the show has ceased reaching out to her for quite some time now.
It seems extremely improbable that she’ll appear on the show next year, considering it will air for only 30 weeks annually. With fewer spots up for grabs among the usual hosts, her chances might be quite limited.
Stacey maintains many close friendships within the program, including panelists Kaye Adams and Linda Robson. It’s hoped that she may reappear on the panel as a special guest in the future.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the decision-makers have taken a step further in their strategy. Instead of focusing solely on established names, they’ve chosen to bring in fresh faces like Olivia Attwood and GK Barry. These individuals not only resonate with the core audience but also appeal significantly to a younger demographic, making them an excellent addition to the mix.
Initially, Stacey made her debut on “Loose Women” back in 2011. Her most recent stint on this popular ITV program occurred as a guest on December 5, 2024.
In 2024, she appeared only once on the program throughout the entire year. The year before that, she made two appearances. Since 2022, she has not regularly graced the panel.
Despite not appearing frequently on the show “Loose Women,” the ex-star of The X Factor, who is married to former EastEnders actor Joe Swash (age 43), continues to identify as a “proud” member of Loose Women in her Instagram bio.

In May, Stacey stunned her followers by openly expressing her disappointment after not winning at the BAFTA TV Awards. She said, “Although I should act graciously and show good sportsmanship, the truth is, I’m truly heartbroken.
She went on saying, “Everybody put on their best attire, as there was a palpable optimism in the air, perhaps because of the tireless efforts they’ve put into it. Creating ‘Sort Your Life Out’ is no small feat; the entire team truly earns our admiration and the BAFTA award they received.
The program titled “Sort Your Life Out” was nominated in the Entertainment Programme category, but it ended up not winning; instead, the victory went to “Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder’s Grand Tour.
Come January, Loose Women will be on-air for just 30 weeks annually, following a decision by ITV’s management to trim the budgets of their largest daytime shows.
Greetings!
Hey there! By the year 2025, it’s sad to report that my beloved morning shows – Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, and Loose Women – will have to bid farewell to 220 team members due to certain cuts. It’s a tough time for us all.
Lorraine experiences significant setbacks due to the reduction in the show’s airtime. Originally, the show ran for an hour each episode, but now it will only last for half an hour. Moreover, instead of airing every week throughout the year, it will now run for 30 weeks annually.
Due to recent adjustments, the Daily Mail reported that the Live studio audience and celebrity guests will no longer feature on Loose Women. Instead, the emphasis of the show will shift towards the regular panelists such as Ruth Langsford and Denise Welch.
The Loose Women studio is relocating from the Television Centre to a more compact location in central London, where it will co-exist with Lorraine’s studio.
As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but echo Nadia Sawalha’s sentiments about the distressing changes on Loose Women. Behind the curtains, our beloved team seems to be enduring unseen struggles.
Nadia expressed her thoughts about the uncertainty of being in television work, stating that this year’s ITV announcements were particularly harsh.
She mentioned that there’s a possibility she could lose her job the next day or in five years, given they aren’t permanent employees. As such, she’s unable to provide any specific information about her future employment status. However, she did confirm that she has secured her next contract.
Over the past week, it’s been incredibly harsh, and it’s making me emotional, as unexpected layoffs will affect hundreds of individuals.
The Daily Mail has contacted Stacey’s spokesperson and an ITV representative for comment.
