SRG power through MIBR in Game Changers Championship 2025

Shopify Rebellion Gold, the two-time champions, started their run at the 2025 VALORANT Game Changers Championship with a decisive victory, defeating MIBR GC in a clean sweep.

In the VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2025, MIBR GC faced a tough battle against the strong team, Shopify Rebellion Gold, in the upper bracket quarterfinals. Sadly, MIBR GC lost the match and moved to the lower bracket.

MIBR had just defeated GIANTX, but SRG advanced directly to the second round of GCC 2025 due to their seeding. SRG’s experience proved to be the deciding factor, as they convincingly defeated MIBR 2-0, even winning one map with a dominant 13-1 score.

With this victory, SRG will now face Karmine Corp, who qualified by defeating Xipto. Meanwhile, MIBR has fallen to the lower bracket and will now have to win every match to stay in the competition. Their next opponent will be the winner of the game between Xipto and Ninetails, a rematch of the regional and Pacific finals.

The match started on Pearl, a map chosen by MIBR. While MIBR won the third round, preventing SRG from getting a bonus, they didn’t win any more rounds on that map. SRG, the defending champions, completely overpowered MIBR on their chosen map, winning 13-1.

The match moved to the Corrode map, and the teams played much closer than before. MIBR started to show some fight, with players getting multiple kills and successfully retaking control of areas. Despite this, SRG consistently made crucial plays under pressure, preventing MIBR from gaining a significant lead.

MIBR started the second half with a larger lead, but SRG quickly closed the gap, keeping the score tight. They eventually tied things up at 9-9. After that, Shopify Rebellion dominated and eliminated MIBR, sending them to the losers’ bracket.
