From the chilling animated series, Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld, to the pulse-pounding thriller Subservience starring Megan Fox, there’s something for every horror aficionado in this list. And let’s not forget about Carry-On, where Taron Egerton races against time while battling a rogue traveler – talk about a holiday rush!


2024 is nearing its end and 2025 is just around the corner! Before we bid farewell to this year, Netflix has one more treat for us – their final batch of shows and movies for the year. Comedian Ali Wong lends her voice to the character of Jentry Chau, while Bowen Yang, Lori Tan Chinn, Lucy Liu, Jimmy O. Yang, Sheng Wang, and Woosung Kim also join the cast.

Subservience

One of the thrillers coming to Netflix in December that we recommend you check out is Subservience. It’s a sci-fi thriller centering on an AI robot going rogue. When his wife falls ill, a desperate father purchases a lifelike AI android named Alice to assist with household chores. While everything initially seems to be going fine, things take a dark turn when Alice gains sentience and develops an obsession with her new owner.

In this version, Michele Morrone takes on the character of Nick, a hard-pressed father, while Megan Fox portrays Alice, an advanced artificial intelligence designed to resemble a woman.

Carry-On

It stars Taron Egerton as a young TSA agent racing to outwit a mysterious traveler who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package be smuggled onto a Christmas Eve flight. Emmy Award-winning actor Jason Bateman plays the role of the mysterious traveler. The rest of the cast is made up of Logan Marshall-Green, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Theo Rossi, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, and several others.

Squid Game season 2

After much anticipation, the second season of the sensational show “Squid Game” has arrived! It’s packed with even more intense excitement and life-threatening challenges. Without a doubt, this is Netflix’s most highly anticipated end-of-year release, making 2024’s conclusion truly spectacular. Following his vow of revenge at the close of season one, Gi-hun is determined to defeat the Front Man and put an end to these deadly games for good. Therefore, he finds himself back in the game once more.

In the upcoming season, Lee Jung-jae once again takes on his character Gi-hun. Additionally, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo reprise their roles from the first season as the Front Man, Hwang Jun-ho, and Recruiter respectively.
