As a die-hard fan of Octopath Traveler, I can hardly contain my excitement! The game has been a staple in my RPG collection since its release, and now it’s about to get even better! The collaboration with NetEase Games is a brilliant move, considering their stellar track record. I remember playing the original game for countless hours, exploring the captivating world of Orsterra, and I can only imagine what new adventures await in the enhanced 2.5 anniversary version.
Starting on January 16, 2025, Square Enix will hand over the service operations for the Western versions of the HD-2D pixel-art RPG called Octopath Traveler: CotC to NetEase Games. This change is because NetEase Games has been managing the game’s operation in Mainland China and Southeast Asia region since its launch in December 2023.
