The “Squad Busters” TRANSFORMERS event has made a comeback after quite some time! This unique partnership between Supercell and Hasbro brings back special characters that were only available during this collaboration. If you didn’t get a chance to collect them last time, now is your opportunity until March 17th to obtain the limited-time Optimus Prime and Elita-1 character in Squad Busters, as well as other themed rewards like emotes, skins, etc.

How to play Squad Busters TRANSFORMERS event

The “Squad Busters TRANSFORMERS” special event kicked off on March 11th, 2025 and will continue until March 17th, 2025. To participate in this event, choose the temporary game mode called “Unicorn Attacks” from the available modes.

In this game, you’ll encounter a new mode similar to others you’ve played before. However, instead of regular opponents, you’ll battle against a massive Unicorn creature. Defeating it will reward you with large pieces of Energon that you can collect.

How to collect more Energon

To gather Energon fast, you need to know the following:

• You can only collect Energon during the Unicon Attacks game mode if you don’t want to spend your coins
• You can find Energons across the map
• Defeat the mode-exclusive monsters for Energon
• If you already have unlocked Optimus Prime and Elita-1 then selecting them in the battlefield will grant you extra Energon
• If you fall short, you can buy Energon from the shop with both Gold Coins and money.

Squad Busters TRANSFORMERS event rewards

In Squad Busters, you’ll have the opportunity to unlock unique items, such as Optimus Prime and Elita-1 as playable characters. For a complete rundown of all the rewards, check out the list provided.

As a gamer, here’s something cool I learned: If you’ve already maxed out Optimus Prime and Elita-1, they won’t appear in my shop anymore. Instead, I can use my Energon to grab other sweet rewards on offer!

Furthermore, you can acquire TRANSFORMERS-esque skins for the characters Chicken, Barbarian, Medic, and Archer Queen as well. While these aren’t actual TRANSFORMERS skins, they do share a resemblance to them.
