Squad Busters major new Hero update is now live
- Squad Busters new Hero update is out now!
- Heroes are the new focus of the release, with squaddies supporting them
- Use your power moves, upgrade your squaddies and enjoy faster, furious gameplay
The game Squad Busters has experienced fluctuations in its popularity. Despite being fundamentally entertaining and user-friendly, similar to a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA), it hasn’t achieved the level of success that Supercell initially anticipated. Yet, players who were once uncertain might be enticed to return for another try due to Squad Busters’ latest update.
The latest update to Squad Busters is being hailed as one of Supercell’s most significant changes in over 15 years. Instead of just having a team made up of units, the gameplay mechanics have been restructured so that teams are now divided into more potent Heroes and Squaddies.
In this game, heroes function as the key elements, just as you might assume, and now they have unique skills and passive traits of their own. On the other hand, soldiers operate similarly to how units used to work, and can even be improved during battles. Additionally, you won’t have to pause your team to attack; attacking without pausing will make your soldiers strike more swiftly, although pausing will increase their attack speed.
I need a hero
Clearly, this transformation significantly alters the core concept of Squad Busters, enhancing your squad’s resilience and shifting the gameplay dynamics from a semi-RTS MOBA style to a more conventional MOBA experience. Now, the emphasis is on utilizing your Heroes and their special abilities in conjunction with your team members to bolster them.
Although some might regret these updates conflicting with Squad Busters’ original concept, it’s challenging to dispute their implementation. Despite my initial affection for Squad Busters, I found it hard to imagine myself regularly playing it. Shifting the emphasis towards heroes seems to enhance the importance of player decisions, making the game more engaging and enjoyable.
