As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia at the sight of that iconic Spyro chest popping up on the Xbox Game Pass Twitter feed. Growing up, those little dragon adventures were a staple in my gaming diet, and the prospect of revisiting them on my trusty Xbox console is nothing short of exhilarating.
It appears that Microsoft has shared a mysterious hint on Twitter, which could possibly indicate that Spyro the Dragon might be joining Xbox Game Pass in the future.
It’s not definitive, but it appears that this might be the situation. Recently, the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account shared a brief video featuring a chest reminiscent of the Spyro series with the caption “hey uhh who left this chest here?” This could possibly hint at the arrival of the beloved Spyro games on Xbox Game Pass.
Most likely, the company responsible for the Spyro games is Activision, since they hold the rights to these games. This implies that Microsoft, being the owner of Activision, also possesses the rights to the Spyro games.
The smart money would be on the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which remastered the first three games in the series. And actually, the art style on the chest is the one from the Reignited trilogy.
We shall see. Check out our review of the trilogy here.
hey uhh who left this chest here?
