Spy Kids 3 alum Robert Vito slapped with restraining order after domestic violence arrest

As a dedicated follower of Hollywood happenings and a former child star myself, I can’t help but feel a pang of empathy for Lindsey Jennings. Her life story is a stark reminder of how quickly fame can fade, leaving one with nothing but memories and personal struggles. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who once graced our screens in Spy Kids 3: Game Over facing such adversity.

Six days following my ex-partner’s arrest for alleged felony domestic violence, a Los Angeles judge granted me a temporary restraining order against Robert Vito, star of Spy Kids 3: Game Over, on Thursday.

On Saturday morning, following a $50,000 bond payment, the 37-year-old ex-child actor spent the previous night in custody, as reported by TMZ.

Robert and a staff member from Industry Insiders have a shared child, their three-year-old son named Bode Vito Armando Diaz. On Halloween, they were both seen together with him, however, she also has three older children.

On Friday evening, LAPD officers went to the LA residence shared by a former couple. Upon their arrival, they noticed signs of injury on Lindsey. She claimed that Vito Diaz had shoved her into some furniture following a full day of drinking.

According to Jennings, the children’s acting coach at iPOP LA allegedly started physically attacking her. He is said to have grabbed her, pinned her down, and even threw their son onto a couch before knocking him to the ground. However, the police reported that the toddler seemed unharmed following the incident.

In the year 2004, Robert earned a nomination for a Young Artist Award in the category of ‘Best Ensemble in a Feature Film’. This recognition was given for his outstanding portrayal of the character ‘Rez’, a rude gamer, in the movie ‘Spy Kids 3: Game Over’.

2003’s third installment of Robert Rodriguez’s family-action series, starring Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, and Sylvester Stallone, raked in a staggering $197 million at the worldwide box office, despite receiving unfavorable critiques.

Back in 2005, I had the unforgettable chance to step into the shoes of David Owens, Kate Mara’s onscreen brother, in director Mary Lambert’s chilling direct-to-video sequel, Urban Legends: Bloody Mary. It was a role that sent shivers down my spine and left me starstruck!

This Tampa native has made appearances as a guest star in various television series such as Chicago Hope, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Bernie Mac Show, Port Charles, and American Dreams.
