Spring has sprung in Pokémon GO with the Spring into Spring event.
In full bloom, springtime brings along the excitement of Pokémon GO too! The “Spring Blossom” event within Pokémon GO will introduce Gossifleur to the game, alongside increased chances for shiny Pokémon and enticing event rewards.
Furthermore, this is an occurrence that you’ll find yourself eagerly returning to day after day. Each day during the event features a variety of spontaneous appearances in different locations.

Spring into Spring Pokémon GO
Starting this coming Wednesday, April 9th, at ten in the morning, I’ll be diving headfirst into the Spring into Spring event that runs all the way up to Monday, April 14th, 2025, wrapping up at eight in the evening, local time. Let’s see what treasures await this season!
Event Bonuses
The following bonuses are active during the event.
- 2× Lucky Egg duration.
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Remoraid and Shiny Fletchling.
- 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event.
Gossifleur arrives in Pokémon GO
Starting the Spring into Spring event, I’m thrilled to share that we’ll encounter Gossifleur and its evolution, Eldegoss, in Pokémon GO for the very first time! To transform my hardworking Gossifleur into the fluffy Eldegoss, I’ll need 50 Gossifleur Candies. Can’t wait to add these new buddies to my team!
Wild Encounters
During this event, you’ll find wildlife encounters rotating every day. Yet, throughout the duration of the event, you’ll spot three specific Pokémon appearing in the wild at any given time.
- Remoraid
- Fletchling
- Gossifleur
Remoraid and Fletchling will have increased shiny odds during this event.
Then, the following Pokémon will appear more frequently on these dates.
April 9 at 10:00 a.m. – April 10 at 11:59 p.m. local time
- Marill
- Lotad
- Ducklett
- Dewpider
- Lapras
April 11 at 12:00 a.m. – April 12 at 11:59 p.m. local time
- Vulpix
- Ponyta
- Numel
- Litleo
- Hisuian Growlithe
April 13 at 12:00 a.m. – April 14 at 8:00 p.m. local time
- Oddish
- Hoppip
- Roselia
- Cherubi
- Alolan Exeggutor
All of the daily wild spawns can be shiny.

In addition, we are getting a range of special Eggs during the event. They are as follows:
2 km Eggs
- Magby
- Budew
- Mantyke
5 km Eggs:
- Remoraid
- Fletchling
- Gossifleur
Taking advantage of the Hatch Candy and Hatch Distance bonuses, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to capture elusive Shinies from 2 km Eggs and accumulate Gossifleur Candy from 5 km Eggs.
