SpongeBob SquarePants’ Best Pal Patrick Getting His Own Game in October Called ‘The Patrick Star Game’
As a long-time fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, I couldn’t be more excited about ‘The Patrick Star Game’. Growing up with these characters, it’s heartening to see them evolve and get their own games. The sandbox style, physics-defying hilarity, and the chance to complete missions for my favorite Bikini Bottom residents is an absolute dream come true!
Starting in October, there will be a new video game focusing on SpongeBob SquarePants’ friend Patrick Star. Called ‘The Patrick Star Game’, this title is tailored to the character and offers an open-world experience set within Bikini Bottom.
As the main character named Patrick (the pink starfish), you’ll have the power to change the world with “physics-defying humor,” carrying out tasks assigned by your friends such as SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, and Plankton. You’ll explore various locations like Glove World, The Dump, and Demolition Derby within this underwater universe.
In this game, you’ll have the opportunity to create a Krabby Patty, enjoy the see-saw, instigate mischief in Mrs. Puff’s fury room, and amass jars of mayo to unlock fresh outfits. The game will additionally hide numerous Easter eggs for you to discover. Lending their voices to the game are the talented cast members of SpongeBob SquarePants: Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick, Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, and Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs.
On the 4th of October, you’ll find “The Patrick Star Game” available for play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers!
