Split Fiction is the New Co-Op Adventure From It Takes Two Studio Coming in March 2025
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I’ve seen the evolution of co-op games from their humble beginnings to the masterpieces they are today. The announcement of Hazelight’s new title, “Split Fiction“, has sent ripples of anticipation through the gaming community.
As a thrilled supporter, I can’t help but share the exciting news about “Split Fiction,” the latest cooperative adventure from the brilliant minds behind “It Takes Two” and “A Way Out.” This captivating game, developed by Hazelight Studios, has just been officially unveiled and is scheduled for release in March 2025 under the EA Originals label. I can hardly wait!
In “Split Fiction”, you’ll navigate through a split-screen cooperative experience, where you can swiftly move between sci-fi and fantasy realms as characters Mio and Zoe. Your mission is to reunite these two aspiring writers’ creative legacies, all while uncovering the profound impact of friendship along the way.
“At Hazelight, we’ve been crafting cooperative games for a decade, consistently exceeding player expectations in the realm of action-adventure co-ops,” said Director Josef Fares. “I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved with Split Fiction. Trust me, it’s going to leave you astonished.
Featuring a variety of science fiction and fantasy elements, along with distinctive environments, Split Fiction is scheduled for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on March 6th, 2025, at the price of $49.99. Similar to It Takes Two, you can play cooperatively with a friend using a Friend’s Pass, meaning only one person needs to purchase the game. Additionally, cross-play compatibility will be available.
