Spike Chunsoft, the company behind games like Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, has announced that Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island Plus will be available on Android and iOS in Japan for 3,500 yen (about $22). The game originally came out on Switch and PC in 2024, and this mobile version includes all previously released downloadable content, both free and paid.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island Plus continues the adventure a few months after the story in Tsukikage Village. It offers a range of challenging dungeons, and each playthrough is unique thanks to a world that changes with every attempt.

Shiren and his ferret companion, Koppa, have a strange vision of a faraway land and a girl who needs help, leading them to Serpentcoil Island. Once there, they find it’s already crowded with other adventurers—everyone is searching for a legendary treasure hidden within a powerful monster.

Players can collect tools, team up with allies, ask to Rescue, and more

While playing, you’ll have to quickly adjust to unexpected changes as you gather tools and team up with allies to make it through the more challenging levels. I personally love how unpredictable the game is – the map, the items you discover, and where enemies and helpful characters appear are all different each time you play.

One feature I particularly like is the Rescue system – it lets you call for help if you fall in a dungeon, so you can keep playing without starting over. The game also looks fantastic, with a charming Japanese style, adorable characters, and interesting dungeons, making it seem really fun to play.
