In the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, we might see Daredevil assembling a group of street-level heroes. This could spark curiosity among viewers about whether Spider-Man will be part of this team. The first season of Born Again loosely follows one aspect of the Devil’s Reign storyline from Marvel’s 616 universe, where Kingpin (Wilson Fisk) used his position as New York’s mayor to ban vigilantes. In the comics, Daredevil united with other Marvel superheroes to challenge Fisk, and the finale of Born Again’s first season hinted at this setup.
In the comics and the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) adaptation of these events, there will undoubtedly be several differences. In the original storyline, Kingpin enforced his anti-vigilante laws through subdivisions of the Thunderbolts. However, the MCU version employs the Anti-Vigilante Task Force, a new creation that makes sense given the imminent release of the _Thunderbolts_ film, which is just weeks after the conclusion of _Born Again_ season 1. Unlike its comic counterpart, Daredevil’s army in the MCU won’t consist of the same heroes, but fans might still be eager to see Peter Parker joining their ranks.
The Spider-Man Film & TV Rights Are Complicated

The relationship of Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is complex, given that the character is jointly owned by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. This means that while Spider-Man can feature prominently or even share the spotlight in MCU movies, there’s uncertainty regarding his involvement in live-action TV series. If Spider-Man were to make a guest appearance in the second season of Born Again in a small role, this could add more complexity to the situation.
It’s Possible Spider-Man Could Appear In Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

It’s reasonable to anticipate or wish for Peter Parker, one of the few street-level Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) characters still active, to be part of Daredevil’s team in the second season of Born Again. This expectation arises because Spider-Man has been confirmed to continue fighting crime in New York City by the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Furthermore, a casual mention about Spider-Man in the first season of Born Again hints at his involvement. Other possible members of Daredevil’s team could be the other Netflix-era MCU heroes such as Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Colleen Wing, Misty Knight, and the Punisher.
In the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie slated for 2026, it’s possible that Spider-Man may face the consequences of his vigilantism, being labeled as an outlaw, and potentially becoming entangled in Wilson Fisk’s anti-vigilante agenda, although his presence in Daredevil: Born Again season 2 remains uncertain. However, the happenings of Daredevil: Born Again’s first season will likely have a significant impact on Peter Parker within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
