Rumor has it that villains from the Daredevil Netflix show will cause trouble for Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, in the 2026 movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. After battling classic villains from older movie series in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, the next film will explore the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing back a major criminal group originally featured on Netflix.

A recent report suggests Spider-Man will battle the ninja group, The Hand, in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie. According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Sony and Marvel filmed a scene featuring Spider-Man fighting “an army of ninjas,” and Richtman has confirmed these ninjas are indeed The Hand, appearing in their classic, comic book-inspired red suits.

I previously mentioned a Spider-Man action scene involving a fight with a group of ninjas. There was a lot of online discussion about who these ninjas were, and I can now confirm they are The Hand. They’re designed to look just like the red-suited ninjas from the comics.

Okay, so if the rumors are true, this would be the first time we’ve seen The Hand in the MCU since the old Netflix shows like Daredevil and The Defenders.
