Spider-Man favorite is no longer in fourth Marvel movie

The lineup boasts some truly enticing titles, from the epic showdowns promised in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars to the intriguing character development in Captain America: Brave New World and The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
As the Marvel Cinematic Universe gears up for its grand finale in the Multiverse Storyline, fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming films. Key titles include “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars,” but there are also exciting additions like “Captain America: New Horizons” and “The Fantastic Four: Initial Journey,” which will offer a deeper understanding of some of the franchise’s pivotal characters.
Apart from that, there’s the newly confirmed “Spider-Man 4″, which will be helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who has previously collaborated with Marvel Studios on “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”. This movie has been secretly in development for some time, with both Marvel and Sony aiming to start a new trilogy. The massive success of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man encountered Andrew Garfield’s and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men, has significantly boosted expectations for the future direction of the franchise.

Contrary to earlier assumptions, it appears that the character will not appear in the new trilogy, and this would mark his first appearance within the Marvel Cinematic Universe if these reports are accurate.
