Spider-Man: Brand New Day gets exciting filming update ahead of 2026 release

With its release still over seven months away, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, one of the most anticipated movies of 2026, just got some exciting news. The latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is generating a lot of buzz, and fans are eager for more details.

This superhero movie is the fourth installment in Marvel’s Spider-Man series, with Tom Holland returning as Spider-Man. It picks up after the dramatic ending of the previous film, No Way Home, where everyone had forgotten Peter Parker’s secret identity.

The highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters in July, and director Destin Daniel Cretton announced on Instagram that filming is complete and editing has begun.

Along with Holland and Mando – who’s back as Scorpion – Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also returning for Brand New Day. Mark Ruffalo will once again play Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Sadie Sink is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 31 July 2026.
