Spider-Man 4 Trailer May Have Shown Sadie Sink’s MCU Debut

Sadie Sink’s MCU character may have been spotted in the new Spider-Man 4 trailer.

The next Spider-Man movie, currently titled Spider-Man 4 or Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is coming to US theaters this summer. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and is working on Wonder Man, will direct. Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, continuing his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Where might Sadie Sink be in the Spider-Man 4 trailer?

The first trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie is out, giving fans their first glimpse of what to expect. The trailer features appearances by Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion, but noticeably absent is Sadie Sink, known for her role in Stranger Things.

Fans on Twitter believe a character played by Ty Simpkins is shown tied up in what looks like a building belonging to the Department of Damage Control. While his face isn’t visible – probably to keep his identity a secret – this seems to support earlier ideas that the DODC will capture him as they start focusing on mutants and others with superpowers.

Since Sadie Sink was cast in ‘Brand New Day,’ fans have been constantly guessing about her role. The excitement increased when it was announced she’d also be in ‘Avengers: Secret Wars,’ coming out in 2027. Many believe she’ll play Jean Grey from the X-Men, but so far, there’s been no official word about her character.

Spider-Man 4, starring Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Zendaya as MJ Jones-Watson, and Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2026.
