A Fresh Start for Spider-Man
In an unexpected turn of events, the director of photography (DP) for the upcoming Spider-Man movie inadvertently shared some significant images that hint at the return of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and a familiar face from the Marvel Universe. The excitement surrounding this news has been escalating ever since the blockbuster success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. With a planned release in 2026, Spider-Man 4 has been generating buzz, particularly due to rumors suggesting Jon Bernthal’s Punisher might make an appearance.
In the buzz surrounding “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” there’s been a lot of chatter about an intriguing development – the inclusion of an original Avenger, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner (better known as the Hulk). The idea of the Hulk reappearing in the big screen alongside Spider-Man is noteworthy because some fans believe it would rectify how the last two “Avengers” films portrayed the character by bringing back a more ferocious version of the Savage Hulk. Recently, a member of the film’s team might have given us a hint about what’s in store for the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) moving forward.
Brand New Day,” has shared a mood board on his Pinterest account that may hint at the appearance of Hulk in the upcoming film featuring Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Pawlak is utilizing a Pinterest board for “Spider-Man 4” as a source of visual inspiration for specific film scenes and their execution. The collection contains numerous images of Spider-Man, some taken from previous films such as “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and “Into the Spider-Verse,” as well as others sourced from comics and other artwork. Interestingly, only one other superhero appears on this moodboard alongside Spider-Man.
A picture showing Spider-Man alighting atop the Hulk is presented, hinting strongly that the Green Behemoth from Marvel Cinematic Universe could very well make an appearance in Spider-Man: Fresh Start.

Here’s another intriguing glimpse into an impending battle: I, a devoted movie buff, can’t help but be captivated by the image of Spider-Man squaring off against a far more primal Hulk. This depiction could suggest a comeback to the character’s original form, stirring excitement among fans like myself.
