This month, THQ Nordic is set to release an updated version of the 2003 action-adventure game “Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy” on Xbox One. The game transports you into a realm filled with mystical portals, drawing inspiration from ancient Egyptian mythology.
In your role as the Sphinx, you’ll have to employ your nimbleness and unique abilities, along with a somewhat unwilling ally, The Mummy. Together, you’ll be tasked with locating the stolen magical Egyptian crowns. Successfully completing this mission is crucial for thwarting Set’s wicked scheme and saving the world from impending doom.
In a nutshell, Sphinx is capable of confronting monsters and navigating around traps, while The Mummy employs stealth to elude adversaries, furthermore, they are skilled in solving puzzles and executing sabotage. The exciting game Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy is slated for release on Xbox One on 15th April, however, it’s already available on PS4 as of now.
It’s important to mention that you can now play the original Xbox version of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy on your Xbox Series X|S, as well as your Xbox One, thanks to the backwards compatibility feature.
